Member
(and president from 2004-6)
of the Lords of Misrule, a drama group specialising on medieval drama
in the original, both as actor and director. Productions have included York
Mystery Plays, Morality Plays and adaptations of Beowulf, Gawain and the
Green Knight, Njal's Saga and the Canterbury Tales. The group has been an
annual guest at King's College, London, for their Medieval Cultural Summer
from 2003-2005 and was featured on television 4 times in this time. My last
direction was my own adaptation of the 'Wife of Bath' which was presented
in a double bill with the 'Pardoner's Tale'. |

Founding member of the Ars Ludendi, a drama group specialised in educational
entertainment. Dramatised readings are usually combined with musical interludes,
sometimes accompanied by introductory lectures. Projects included 'An Evening
with the Paston's', introductions to the Mystery Plays and an adaptation of a
selections of Boccaccio's 'Decamerone'. |
